I signed up for CF gym membership. Finally, Alhamdulillah, all praises belong to Him.
I was really surprised when Ivon, the consultant told me there’s no need to pay advance 2 months fee like I read on the Internet.
The monthly fee rate is just as expected, I was prepared for that so nothing shocked me. Suitable with its brand and the place it nestled around, I’m satisfied with everything. It has 3 packages, and I opted a very basic package with 12 months contract. Ivon brang me for a short tour, there are 2 studios where all sort of classes happen and open space where equipments like cross fit, treadmill (I come for you baby!), weights, and body scanner are located. Body scanner (I used my own terms since I forgot the specific brand or name) is amazing. It scans every level of your body like trunk, waist, hip and the usual measurements like % water, muscles and body fats – and it will print out the result automatically! How cool is that! Excuse my jakun but dats cool. So I got my very first result of my body content. Not a good sight, really.
I need to lost about 18 kilos more to achieve my ideal weight. Hahaha. 18 kilos. Just wow.
With the package, I will be given 4 sessions with a personal trainer, an access card for a locker and yes! a free bag and towel.
I see it as an investment. I hope to become a healthier, clean and positive human being.
Getting back to work this morning, the struggle was so real that I need to depend on the caffeine to trigger my mood. My other sisters are still in Kedah, enjoying their holidays, how good is that! Oh yeah, Eid ul Adha Mubarak for all the Muslims. Mabrook for all my friends that are getting married or engaged. For the single ladies, let’s enjoy our time! I don’t mean those who’re married can’t enjoy their time, but you know..it’s different. The freedom you have during you’re single..you’ll miss it once you get married (as per my aunty, so don’t argue with me on that).
Since I worked here, I admitted my health is deteriorating. Not to kidding you but I stopped working out since I stepped into this company. How bad is that?! My skipping rope has been abandoned for too long! Although I’ve been dreaming of exercising after work, I ended up confused deciding the appropriate place to exercise. My crowded house? Oh please, it is a big no. Tried jogging around the neighborhood area but I don’t like the barking dogs whenever I passed by certain houses. Swimming in the swimming pool’s apartment? – ah, the Chinese fellas always conquer it plus I threw away my swimming suit last year.
So, I have come to a decision.
I’m eyeing on this particular gym. Expensive as hell, but after I read a hill of reviews; I’m confident it’s the best one.
Guess what, take my money. I will invest on this shit. I have to kick out those freaking toxins in my body. I have to start again the journey!
…that would mean, after this there will be a lot of rants about workout, nutrition, gym and well, before-and-after-thingy. haha.
So, we went to Padang, Indonesia. A humble, greeny, and beautiful place; it is a place where you can run away from a hectic and dusty city.
Right after touched down at Padang Airport (having Minangkabau roof as its proud signature!), we headed to Bukit Tinggi.
Temperature at Bukit Tinggi was just nice, nothing was too extreme. Surrounded by richness of the greens and humble village houses, I swore I can’t take my eyes of it along the journey. Jackie, our friendly tourist guide showered us with tonnes of history and origin of Minangkabau which I like soooo much. I mean, what’s the point of traveling without knowing their culture, history and whatnot?
The rest of this post, I will just let the pictures do the talk!
Oh yeah, all photo credits goes to one and only Denah. I mean her iphone. Err.
