Ok, so yeah, my riceless-kimbap attempt failed (let’s say haven’t succeed yet).
The end result is..I just threw all the ingredients (cooked of course!) into my lunch box and grabbed my garlic chilli sauce. Lol.
Realising that it was hard to achieve my protein goal in my everyday meal, I’ve been searching for a good meat replacement. After a tonne of searchings and readings, it is confirmed that black bean is actually a good protein source together with a bunch more legumes and lentils. Well, it is mind-blowing that those humble beans is actually full of good-for-you ingredients. So, I bought a pack of organic black bean.
When it comes to the bean prep, to soak or not has created a massive struggle and discussion. Haha. Read about the pros and cons of soaking the beans overnight (to soften and reduce the time cooking) and I..well lazy people won’t soak it beforehand. Supporting that, actually soaking the beans would lead to the flavor leakage. And the nutrients inside it will somehow drained off. So, for the beans to be cooked, it takes about 3 hours (or more) especially when they’re not soaked overnight. Gosh! Patience counts here.
So that was it. My through-out-the-day meal is the salsa. Or salad.
– Make black bean done first (Boil with water and taste it in the meantime). When it tastes soft and starchy then it’s ready.
– Steam all the veggies (I used broccoli, cauliflower, green peas, carrots, pineapple) and cut the tomato into small chunks.
– Sauté some diced onions and a crunched garlic with olive oil
– Put in pineapple to enhance the flavor
– Mix everything together.
And seasoning is totally up to you. Mine was olive oil, salt and pepper, a dash of ground cinnamon and a splash of lemon juice at the end. One thing about including bean in your meal is that you will feel fuller. So, you can avoid yourself from snacking rubbish between the meals. Bingo!
My jaw dropped when I failed in multiple attempts to log in this blog account. 2 weeks plus without any entry update, felt like I’d never own one. haha. And finally, somehow I typed something that was popped in my memory (that maybe, maybe it could be the password) and yeah! Here I am. (I don’t know what the password I typed, glad that I ticked the ‘remember me’ box so that I wouldn’t have to type the password again).
Oldness proven? Hell yes. Some of my memories (password especially) seemed to be destroyed earlier than it supposes to! What is going on? Or blame not aging process, maybe it has something to do with my neuron, somewhere at the frontal lobe.heh
Okay. Enough of that.
It has been one month and seventeen days since I graduated and still unemployed. Been through a lot of job applications, some rejections, some halfway succeeds and my faith is still the same. I won’t give up that easy, I know some people get hired after one to two years of graduating. So, no problem. As long as we keep on trying and hoping, someday a good news may hit you.
Rather than finding a part-time job, I started up some small businesses. Shawls is the main one followed by food and beverages. Car-boot sale! I just love this idea, really! It is fun to meet random people, talking to the customers, and I’m now understand this saying – “when you love the job, you didn’t feel tired – you enjoyed doing it”.
Oh, we sisters yang punya plan since all of us are now home and all the minds think alike. Business! We dreamed of food truck one fine day, and I can’t stop thinking about it every time before I fall asleep. From the food truck concept, the possible name, the menus, and the dream goes on. I was once googled up for any food truck/mobile kitchen that’s availabe for sale, and guess what? it is about eighteen thousands ringgit! Then, I stopped googling and muhasabah kejap. Haha.
I think, it must be interesting to record the journey of us. All these plans and activities make our bond stronger, and yeah it is much more easier (and fun too!) to work with our own siblings and family.

Finished this book quite a long time ago, but recently I just love to re-read it again. Different from other book that were written with compact, small, and lengthy words, Lisa wrote this book with her style. Elegant short rhythm line which made me able to finish the entire book within only 2 days.
Tried to find the other books written by her at the bookstores since then but I didnt found any of them. For me, this book is not about the love story, I see it as a life journey in seeking her stand and identity.

As cortisol will be much secreted during stress, it also inhibit fat-burning hormone, just like the 5th point above.
That is all what had been highlighted in recent posts in PositiveMed.com and to solve the belly fat problem, ensure that you take enough plain water , exercise regularly (walking during window shopping included), eating in balance calories and have quality sleep.
To take all these into account, you can start doing your “Health Diary” to record what ever foods you take in and what type of exercise you have done.
